Supply artwork as a high-resolution CMYK PDF with 3mm bleed and keep text and logos safely inside the trim edge. Use strong contrast and avoid placing heavy background graphics where handwritten notes will normally appear.
Turnarounds Times & Deliveries
At Print Zoo our main aim is to always keep our customers informed from start to finish what is happening with their order, however we always get asked the same question 'How long will my order take?' So we decided to make our turn around times as clear and simple as possible.
So here we go... All our litho printing takes 4 working days during the production process and then delivered to you on day 5, so for example if you place an order on a Monday morning before 10am this will be your first production day meaning your order will be printed and sent out by courier on day 5 which would be the Friday of the same week. The only product not included in this turn around time is booklets as these take 7 working days to complete as standard.
Our digital printing service on the other hand doesn't take as long during production meaning your order only takes 48 hours to complete, so for example if you order on a Monday your order will be ready on Wednesday for collection or will be sent to you via courier on this day.
Large format printing on the other hand takes 3-5 working days to produce depending on the product you have ordered and also if there is fitting required. Please contact our team if you would like to find out more about our large format printing service.
We also understand that sometimes when running your business you can forget about that all-important print job that you needed and might need it quicker, don't worry we have you covered! If you find yourself needing any print job faster than laid out above please give our team a call and we will do our best to help. We can usually turn around most jobs within 24-48 hours, but we have been known to get print out same day in an emergency.

Artwork Guidelines
We understand not everyone that needs print is a graphic designer or advertising agency, this is why we have made our print guidelines as simple as possible to follow and understand. Simply follow the rules listed below when setting up your artwork, but if you do get lost don't worry you can contact our team to assists you.
- PDF Format or High Resolution JPG
- 3mm bleeds complete with crop marks
- 3mm safe area (keep text at least 3mm away from the edge)
- Text converted to curves/outlines
- At least 300dpi for all non vector graphics
- CMYK colour format
- Transparencies, drop shadows and complex gradients flattened where possible

What file formats are accepted?
The type of document you supply will often determine the reliability of the finished product. Most design software can produce output in PDF format and ideally we prefer artwork to be supplied as a PDF.
We can also accept other file types including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, High-Resolution JPGs (300dpi).
How long does it take to process and deliver an order?
Order before noon, and in most cases (depending on quantity and specifications), we’ll have your print job ready to dispatch the following day! With selected delivery options, this means your order could be in your hands by Day 4. Please note, delivery times may vary slightly based on destination, order size, or custom specs, but we always provide clear delivery dates at checkout. If you need it even faster, just reach out, we’ll do our best to meet your timeline!

At Print Zoo we have a fully qualified team of fitters, offering window graphics, wall coverings and shop sign fitting.
