The main difference is size and visibility. A4 is the smallest common poster size and is useful for notices, handouts and small displays. A3 is twice the size of A4 and works well for shop windows, events and promotions. A2 gives a stronger visual presence for medium-sized displays. A1 is a large poster format for high-impact promotions, exhibitions and event spaces. A0 is the largest standard A-size poster and is best when you need big, bold visibility. The best paper or finish depends on how the poster will be used. A lighter silk paper is a good option for everyday promotional posters, event posters and short-term campaigns. A heavier paper or card stock can feel more premium and works well for displays that need extra durability. For the best print result, supply your poster artwork as a high-quality print-ready file, ideally aPDFor high-resolution JPG. Add3mm bleed with crop marks, keep important text and logos at least3mm inside the edge, useCMYK colour, and make sure non-vector images are at least300dpi. Large poster artwork needs extra care because low-resolution images, small text or missing bleed become much more noticeable when printed at A2, A1 or A0 size. Print Zoo’s artwork guidelines recommend PDF or high-resolution JPG files, 3mm bleed, 3mm safe area, outlined text, 300dpi graphics and CMYK colour.

Turnaround depends on the poster size, quantity, artwork approval, print method and delivery or collection option selected.
