A menu update is a chance to make your venue's print feel consistent, from the pavement to the table. Plan the menus, take-away information and window messaging together.
Start with how often the menu changes
Daily specials, seasonal menus and long-running drinks lists need different print decisions. Consider update frequency, handling and placement. Compare restaurant menus with laminated menu options and check the current specifications before choosing a finish.
Use folded leaflets for the take-away journey
A folded leaflet can bring a menu, opening hours and booking instructions together. Choose the fold before arranging the content. Panels that tuck inside may need a different layout, so use the matching template instead of splitting the sheet by eye.
Connect the pavement to the table
Window graphics introduce the update before guests enter; table menus carry the detail; take-away print gives them a way to order or book again. Repeat the same offer names and visual style, but adjust the amount of text for each viewing situation.
Agree quantities and versions
List how many tables, counters, branches and take-away points need print. Keep delivery and collection versions separate where information differs. If prices or dishes change frequently, a smaller planned run may be more useful than holding a large quantity that could become outdated.
Proof the information carefully
Have the venue's responsible team approve dish names, prices, dietary wording and other required information. The printer cannot verify recipes or operational details. Test booking links and QR codes, approve a clearly named final version and provide your required arrival date so timing can be confirmed.
